What is the difference between a partner (company) and a contact in Odoo? A Partner represents an entity that you do business with - a customer, a prospect, or even an employee of your company. In other CRM applications, a partner (company) is also referred to as an Account. A Contact represents a person who works for a partner.

Each partner can have an unlimited number of contacts. Odoo also allows you to have several contacts with the same address type for one partner. You can easily link several Invoice addresses to a customer, for instance.

Driving your Marketing Campaigns

Odoo offers a set of modules allowing you to easily create and track your Marketing Campaigns. With the Marketing application, you define your direct marketing campaigns, allowing you to automate your lead communication. You can install it by installing the marketing module from the list of modules.
